Matthew & Marina

Matthew
and
Marina

THE CELEBRATION

November 9th - 19th, 2025

We've planned a full Seattle experience for our loved ones traveling near and far. Join us for as many adventures as you'd like – your presence at any event is a gift to us

RSVP for individual events required • All activities optional except ceremony • Group Chat for daily coordination

Why Ten Days?

Here's the thing: we're bringing together people from Missouri and Mexico, England and California, folks who speak different languages and come from completely different worlds. A four-hour reception wasn't going to cut it.

Marina's family has this beautiful tradition where weddings aren't just about the ceremony – they're about taking real time to build connections. Matthew grew up with Sunday dinners where family meant showing up, week after week, actually getting to know each other. So we thought... why not both?

Ten days gives Matthew's aunts time to learn names over coffee instead of shouting over wedding music. It means friends from across oceans can actually become friends with each other, not just people who happened to be at the same party once. It's our way of creating space for all our favorite people to become each other's favorite people too.

How This Works

Think of it less like a traditional wedding and more like a really long weekend with friends – except it's 10 days and there happens to be a wedding in the middle.

Come for everything. Stay for the whole adventure – Space Needle to hot tub boats to a Bavarian village day trip.

Come for what works. Jump in for the activities that sound fun to you.

Come for just the ceremony. Friday, November 14th at Kubota Gardens. That's the only "mandatory" event, and even then, we just really hope you'll be there.

Each activity has its own RSVP because we need headcounts for escape rooms and restaurant reservations, not because we're taking attendance. Show up how you can. We're just grateful you're here!

The Real Reason

We're not going to lie – we're asking a lot. Time off work, plane tickets, ten days in Seattle's November rain. But here's what we're hoping happens:

That Matthew's family and friends gets to truly know the Seattle crew who've become Marina's chosen family.

That Marina's traditions get to live in this celebration, even though some of the people who taught them to her can't make the journey north.

That by the time we're saying "I do," everyone in that garden actually knows why these specific people matter so much to us.

And maybe, just maybe, when you leave Seattle, you're leaving with a few new friends you didn't have before.

That's worth ten days to us. We hope it is to you too.
